Steam cleaning carpets can have a number of environmental impacts, including the use of water and energy during the cleaning process, as well as the release of chemicals and pollutants. The amount of water and energy used can vary depending on the method and equipment used, but generally, steam cleaning requires a significant amount of both. Additionally, the cleaning solutions used in steam cleaning can contain a variety of chemicals and pollutants, which can be released into the environment when the cleaning is complete. Some cleaning solutions may also contain VOCs (volatile organic compounds) which can be harmful to human health and the environment. In order to address this, Emmy Cleaning always use the one push and one pull strategy, namely, during the carpet steam cleaning, we will rinse the carpet for one meter, and suck the same path using the wand for the same piece of carpet. In this way, we will minimise the residual of the chemical in your carpet.
