Heat is important in carpet steam cleaning as it helps to loosen and lift dirt and stains from the carpet fibers. The heat from the steam also helps to kill bacteria, viruses, and other microorganisms that may be living in the carpet. Additionally, heat can help to speed up the drying time of the carpet after it has been cleaned.

The main difference between using a self-heated extractor and a non-heated extractor for carpet steam cleaning is the source of heat.

A self-heated extractor has an internal heating element that heats up the water or cleaning solution as it is being sprayed onto the carpet. This means that the water is being heated to a high temperature before it is applied to the carpet, which can help to more effectively remove dirt, stains, and bacteria from the carpet fibers.

A non-heated extractor, on the other hand, does not have an internal heating element. Instead, it relies on the heat from the room or the outside air to heat up the water or cleaning solution before it is applied to the carpet. The water is not as hot as that from self heated extractor. This means that it may not be as effective at removing dirt, stains, and bacteria from the carpet fibers.

Also, the drying time for a carpet cleaned with non-heated extractor may take longer than that cleaned with self heated extractor.

The difference in the appearance of the carpet after being steam cleaned using a self-heated extractor and a non-heated extractor is very significant. In general, a carpet cleaned with a self-heated extractor is likely to look cleaner and fresher than one cleaned with a non-heated extractor.

A self-heated extractor uses hotter water which can help to more effectively remove dirt, stains, and bacteria from the carpet fibers. This means that the carpet is likely to be cleaner and fresher looking after cleaning. Additionally, because the heat from the self-heated extractor helps to kill bacteria, viruses and other microorganisms that may be living in the carpet, it may also be less likely to develop odors after cleaning.

On the other hand, a non-heated extractor may not be able to remove as much dirt, stains, and bacteria from the carpet fibers as a self-heated extractor. This means that the carpet may not look as clean or fresh after cleaning. Additionally, because the water is not as hot as that from self heated extractor, it may not be as effective at killing bacteria, viruses, and other microorganisms that may be living in the carpet, so it may be more likely to develop odors after cleaning.

Additionally, the drying time for a carpet cleaned with non-heated extractor may take longer than that cleaned with self heated extractor
